Sameeksha can now read entire stories without help

Six months back, seven year old Sameeksha could barely join letters together to form words. After joining a Pratham Read India class and she quickly graduated from reading words to reading paragraphs, and is now at the level where she can read entire stories.

Your donations will ensure that Sameeksha and 34 other children like her are enrolled in Pratham’s Read India program where they are provided need-based instruction in reading, writing and basic arithmetic to bring them to the literacy levels expected of children their age.
