Ten year old Akriti from Madhya Pradesh hesitated to read to her class. Her teacher says he was a very shy girl until Pratham’s library programme engaged her in different activities like skits, story-telling and book and puppet making. She looks forward to the library class and has started to read stories to her class as well. Thank you for supporting the Pratham Read India’s Library Program.
Your donations will ensure that Akriti and 29 other children like her are enrolled in Pratham’s Read India program where they are provided need-based instruction in reading, writing and basic arithmetic to bring them to the literacy levels expected of children their age.
Thank you, for doing your bit to ensure that ‘every child in India is in school and doing well‘.
