Dear Asawari & Samir, Meena, Sujata and Raja, Rujuta & Suneet, Sarmila, Madhu and Ashok, Ruchi and Anup, Vineet, Chet, Margret, Chithra, Shradha & Vijay, Aradhana, Shobha, Vasudha, Yash, Beth, Nina, Laura, Marta, Lindsay, Akash, Karen, Amar, Jerry, Jamie, Purnima, Marissa, and Audra,

Thank you for ensuring that children from 10 different villages are enrolled in Pratham’s Read India program for a year. Your contributions support Manish and you can read his story below:

Seven year old Manish is a regular at the Balwachan Program conducted by Pratham in Jahangir Puri, New Delhi. He comes to the Center every day for three hours before going to school and spends that time practicing the alphabet as well as learning to construct simple words. The program is a boon to him because he doesn’t learn much in the regular school in which he is enrolled.

Your donations will ensure that children in 10 villages are enrolled in Pratham’s Read India program, which provides need-based instruction in reading, writing and basic arithmetic to bring them to the literacy levels expected of children their age.

Thank you all for doing your bit to ensure that ‘every child in India is in school and learning well‘.
