Ambiva is 12 years old and is enrolled at Sarai Peepal Khala Government School, an all girls’ school in New Delhi. She attends the Library Program, which is conducted as a part of the Read India program by Pratham. The Library program is held daily for 45 minutes, and during the time, the girls are encouraged to not only read stories, but also enact them with the help of puppets that they make. The Library Program not only helps develop a love for reading, it teachers the girls to critically analyse what they are taught in school.
