An enthusiastic learner

Priyanka studies at a school in Jaipur, Rajasthan. She has a very supportive and literate family. Her father is a teacher in a government school and her mother is a housewife.

Her father continually encourages to excel in school. The fact that her parents actively help her to study is evident from her confidence, her willingness to participate in every single activity in the learning camp and her promptness when it comes to giving answers.

When Pratham conducted a learning camp in her neighborhood and tested all the students in that area for proficiency in various subjects, the tests revealed that in language, Priyanka could only read words and could do only simple two digit addition problems in math.

With the help of Pratham§s unique pedagogy and special learning techniques, Priyanka can now read full paragraphs and stories smoothly and fluently and can do subtraction problems as well.
