She is relatively shy compared to other children in her class; especially her best friend, Piyush, who introduced her to us.
While Gauri is shy, she is also very sharp. She loves poems and participates in poetry reading activities and nursery rhyme recitals most willingly. She recites a beautiful poem called Chiriya which is about a bird who is caged and is craving for freedom to soar in the skies. Her expression and angelic voice brought out the true essence of the poem.
When Gauri grows up, she wants to be a doctor. “When people fall sick, I want to take care of them,” she says.
Thanks to your donation, Gauri is a happy, confident learner, and perhaps a budding poet too. Thank you for making this possible.
