Alisha loves mathematics

Thank you for ensuring that 35 children like Alisha are enrolled in Pratham’s Read India program for a year.
Eleven year old Alisha is enrolled at the Pratham Learning Centre at Shivpuri, New Delhi. After joining the Center, she has improved drastically in both Hindi and English. She can now read whole stories. She is also able to do more complicated things in mathematics like finding the Least Common Multiple and doing long multiplication. She wants to be an engineer when she grows up, and is encouraged to work towards the dream by her teachers.
Your donations will ensure that 35 children like Alisha are enrolled in Pratham’s Read India program where they are provided need-based instruction in reading, writing and basic arithmetic to bring them to the literacy levels expected of children their age.
