Uma, the future doctor

Thank you for ensuring that Uma and 34 other children like her are enrolled in Pratham’s Read India program for a year.
Uma is a student of Class 7 at MVDM School in Vishakapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Her father is a laborer, and she wants to become a Doctor when she grows up. In her spare time, Uma likes reading books and playing games with her friends.
Your donations will ensure that Uma and 34 other children like her are enrolled in Pratham’s Read India program where they are provided need-based instruction in reading, writing and basic arithmetic to bring them to the literacy levels expected of children their age.
