Muntaza loves speaking in English

Muntaza Alam-001
Dear Meeta, Sandy, Alex, Amy, Emma, Raj, Maria, Jayanthi, Nikil, Randall, Bharat, Anuj, Mamata, Samika, Sandeep, Murali, and Sriram,

Thank you for ensuring that Muntaza and 34 other children like him are enrolled in Pratham’s Read India program for a year.
At fourteen, Muntaza Alam is one of the oldest students in the Pratham Support Class. He is in seventh grade, and started Pratham with his younger brother, Muntazzir, when he was in the fourth grade. English is his favorite subject, because he finds it very impressive when somebody can speak English, so he wants to be able to speak too. Muntaza loves watching Cartoon Network and WWF. John Cena is his favorite wrestler, but Muntaza doesn’t wrestle, he likes playing chess. His older brother Muntakhab taught him how to play, and Muntaza is still waiting for the day that he can beat his big brother. When he is older, Muntaza wants to be a pilot, because he loves watching the planes that fly over Mumbai.
Your donations will ensure that Muntaza and 34 other children like him are enrolled in Pratham’s Read India program where they are provided need-based instruction in reading, writing and basic arithmetic to bring them to the literacy levels expected of children their age.
Thank you, for doing your bit to ensure that ‘every child in India is in school and learning well‘.
