Naushaad loves playing pranks

Naushaad Hashmi
Dear Gopi, Arun, Sharada, Chetan, Anu, Samir, Veena, Rakesh, Niyathi, and Kelley,

Thank you for ensuring that Naushaad and 34 other children like him are enrolled in Pratham’s Read India program for a year.
Naushaad is an eleven-year-old prankster! His friends in fifth grade say that he is always joking around. When he is not playing pranks or in class, he is usually helping his father run his tobacco and cigarette shop. His father likes to have Naushaad around helping because he is very good at math. But Naushaad prefers science to shop keeping, and wants to be an engineer when he is older. This is already his second year at Pratham, and he comes back because he really enjoys the classes.
Your donations will ensure that Naushaad and 34 other children like him are enrolled in Pratham’s Read India program where they are provided need-based instruction in reading, writing and basic arithmetic to bring them to the literacy levels expected of children their age.
Thank you, for doing your bit to ensure that ‘every child in India is in school and learning well‘.
