Misbaah wants to become a doctor when she grows up

Misbaah Khan
Dear Rajendra, Rishi, Kiran, Deborah, Ashok and Ranjana, Sahar, Ritu, Raj, Shriya, and Anika,

Thank you for ensuring that Misbaah and 34 other children like her are enrolled in Pratham’s Read India program for a year.
Misbaah is in sixth grade and attends a Pratham Support Class. She attends regularly, and likes all of the subjects, but enjoys Urdu the most. This is her first year in a Pratham Class, and her favorite part is the when the teacher tells the class stories, because her other teachers never read her stories. She has two brothers and three sisters, all of whom also attend school, and her mother works around the house, often enlisting Misbaah’s help with daily tasks. Her father works in a hospital, and Misbaah wants to be a doctor when she grows up.
Your donations will ensure that Misbaah and 34 other children like him are enrolled in Pratham’s Read India program where they are provided need-based instruction in reading, writing and basic arithmetic to bring them to the literacy levels expected of children their age.
Thank you, for doing your bit to ensure that ‘every child in India is in school and learning well‘.
