Mohmmad wants to become a doctor

Thank you for ensuring that Mohmmad and 34 other children like him are enrolled in Pratham’s Read India program for a year.

Five year old Mohmmad lives in a slum community in Mumbai, and studies in kindergarten at a local school. Though he cannot read, he is enrolled in Pratham’s Library Program, where he is encouraged to pick up books. he loves looking at pictures in the books, and his favourite book is the story of the crow and the tall glass. He wants to become a doctor when he grows up. Mohmmad is small for his age, and the older children love looking after him.

Your donations will ensure that Mohmmad and 34 other children like him are enrolled in Pratham’s Read India program where they are provided need-based instruction in reading, writing and basic arithmetic to bring them to the literacy levels expected of children their age.
