Padman is a born sportsman

Seven year old Padman from Delhi is in grade one. He loves to run and race – especially when it is time to go to school! Prior to being immersed in Pratham’s Read India Program, he had little recognition of basic letters. Now, Padman can write English letters confidently by himself and also form simple words. He practices his new English skills with his friends and always amazes them.

Your donation, Kathleen (x2), Kowsilliyar, Yogi, Leonard (x2), Elizabeth (x2), Susan (x2), Simmone (x5), Khalid, Kartik (x2), David (x2) would ensure that Padman, and 19 other children like him are enrolled in Pratham’s Read India program where they are provided need-based instruction in reading, writing and basic arithmetic to bring them to the literacy levels expected of children their age.
